Hey! Did any of you see the little boy with autism singing on America's Got Talent last night? I missed it, but my daughter came in and told me all about it, through tears! I'm hoping to see a clip of it today. I saw a clip of him on his local news channel and OMG - he is precious!

Hi, everyone. I am a mom of 4. I have a daughter with multiple special needs...she: is totally blind, has Panhypopituitarism, has Diabetes Insipidus, has Hypothyroidism, has Adrenal Cortical Insufficiency, and has a seizure disorder...all due to an Optic Glioma Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma that was resected when she was 8 months of age. She also just had an ileostomy in April because of a severe hemolytic reaction to an antibiotic they gave her while she was in the hospital for throwing up and diarrhea. Because of a poorly understood thirst recognition disorder (she doesn't recognize that she is thirsty) and not wanting to drink she has a g-tube. She currently is developmentally delayed and isn't independently mobile.

My special needs daughter is a wonderful little girl and adds so much to our family.

I am a mom of two, and both LOVED and HATED being pregnant. The new life inside, thrilled me, the symptoms and discomfort were miserable. Back then, lots of people didn't want to tell it like it is--the endless hunger, the hemorrhoids, the hormonal rages and weepiness, as well as the incredible joy of making a new life. Eight years after my first child, I have a wonderful opportunity to share this experience. I have been hired by a woman's website to make a video that will profile a pregnant mom and her husband. It will include delivery and continue into the first month of the baby's life. The hope is that the video will entertain, educate and above all, be honest. I am looking to find a couple in Los Angeles that will be entering their second trimester in July and will give birth sometime in Dec. '08 or Jan '09. Write me back if you would like to be a part. or know anyone who might! thanks all!!!

Best, Nicole
