How to use Proloquo2go I'm not sure if any of you are using an Assistive Technology communication device, but we just started using Proloquo2go and I am really excited about how well my daughter is doing.  I found this video and it was really helpful in showing me how to use it.

I am  a single mom with a 10 year old daughter with a traumatic brain injury (with tons of secondary diagnoses!).  I blog about our life, her brain injuyr, being a single working mom and food.  And stuff.  Lots of stuff.

I am also giving away a Children's Place Gift Card on my blog

Hi everyone! If you've got kids with "issues" and need a laugh, support, and long-term perspective ... we hope you'll check out our blog, Walk A Mile In My Issues, as well as our video, "Sh*t Moms of Kids with 'Issues' Say" ... we have been there, and walked that long and winding path ... and lived to tell the tale with our own special warped sense of humor! And ... we have some incredible comment conversations going on in the comments section of our blog, and hope you will read and join in. Hang in there, moms of kids with "issues" -- You are doing an AWESOME job!

I would love to increase my readership as well. I am finding it a bit difficult. I do like coming on to the site and reading other blogs.  I have found some great blogs. I normally keep track of the blogs that I join and try to comment on them at least once every other week until I just never hear from them.  I love having tons of blogs to read and respond too.

Hi everyone - I am new here. I am deaf and my daughter has Down syndrome and I blog at With a Little Moxie. Today's post is particularly relevant here for most - it's on Abuse and Disability. Please read, follow the links and let's all be more aware of this critical (if scary and despicable) issue:
