Blessings to all, I am a WAHM to 2 sassy kiddos, my son who is now 6 years old has Angelman Syndrome. He is why I started blogging earlier this year. He was misdiagnosed for over 4 years, as are many kiddos with this rare genetic disorder. I was amazed at how many people especially within the medical community whare not familiar with this disorder.

Hello Ladies!
I'm a mom of three. Two of wich are special needs and one typical child. My 12yr old has CAPD, LED, ADD, and sensory issues. My 3 1/2 year old has autism, and was born with a cleft palate that has since been repaired. And last but not least my 2 year old typical child. They are all my angels. I'm glad I found this group. I'm hoping to get great ideas from you ladies and hopefully share some ideas i have learned over the years.

Hi everyone! I'm mom of an 11 year old special needs daughter, who was born with a rare metabolic disorder, Maple Syrup Urine Disease. She's in a cognitively impaired classroom and receives speech and occupational therapy.

Hi I'm the mom of 2 precious girls. Amelia has Down syndrome and just started kindergarten. Zoe will be 3 soon, has sensory integration disorder and starts special needs preschool as soon as she does. Both girls have completely different disabilities, so my learning curves been doubled, but thankfully no real health issues. I'm so psyched to be here!

Wanted to share about Invisible Illness Week. This is something that may interest you. You can read about the discussion I started here.

I have multiple chronic illnesses and try to be a disABILITY advocate.
