If you have  a child with dyslexia or other learning disabilities, let
Horatio Humble  help your child understand he CAN learn to read.

This fun rhyming story offers encouragement and help
for both child and parent.

Parent-teacher guide included.

Hi! My daughter, Emma (aka Apple Cheeks) has Down syndrome. In my blog, I write about her challenges and joys, adventures and misadventures. I invite you to join me on our journey....I am very excited about being linked in with other moms with children with special needs.

Hi everyone! I'm new. Not to comfortable here yet but this is the group I fit into I think. My toddler has SPD and I foresee  an OCD diagnosis coming soon. Anyway, glad to be here and I look forward to checking out your blogs!

Please check out this post on Milestone Mom.  AMC Theatres offers sensory friendly films.  Lights are up, sound is down and kids can run around. AMC partnered with The Autism Society in creating these events.

I just attended an Autism/Aspergers conference on 5/13. It was great. Temple Grandin was a featured speaker. I came away with a lot of great ideas for my 12 year old stepson (who has high functioning Autism).

I recently wrote a blog post about the different types of thinkers that Temple talks about.

We also learned about the new Temple Grandin school that will be starting soon in Boulder, CO.
