Hi everyone!  I haven't posted here in a while (but have been reading everyone's posts, blogs, etc.!) and I was hoping to ask a favor.  My little blog is up for an award and if you have a moment, I was hoping you could vote for me.  The award is for bloggers writing about their kids with SPD.

My blog is Try Defying Gravity (http://trydefyinggravity.wordpress.com) and the award nomination site is http://www.hartleysboys.com/p/spd-blogger-awards-nomination-form.html.  My blog is listed under the "Inspirational" category.

Voting runs until this Saturday.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi I'm Cheryl.  I am a Momma to almost 6 (one due in just a few weeks) I have a few with some learning issues and one fighting cancer. My guy who is fighting cancer had brain surgery to remove a tumor and now we have many physical and cognitive issues. Thanks looking forward to checking out your blogs.  Feel free to pop by mine.

For those with iPads, or some other color eReaders, my WILD and WONDERFUL series, about animals from the US and Australia, might be the perfect gift for that hard to interest child.

Delightfully illustrated, and written in rhyme, each e-Book tells fascinating snippets about various animals.  Fun and educational!

Can also be read and enjoyed on a computer screen.

I will be participating in a HUGE Giveaway in February. I am looking for Sponsors that make handmade items. Especially items that would be loved by people and children who are physically handicapped. Such as items for people in wheelchairs, using a cane or walker etc. Remember, we like pretty smelling soaps, etc. too! If you would like to be a sponsor, please contact me via email at wheelchairdecor@gmail.com

Just wanted to let everyone know that I just posted an article on how to help yur child develop good scissor skills. These skills go a long way toward promoting handwriting ability. In the post I offer therapist tips on how to overcome difficulties with learning how to use the scissors. Feel free to take a look. It is helpful for all young chidren regardless of circumstance. The post can be found at Milestone Mom.
