Hey everyone! It dosn't look like there has been much conversation with this group in a long time. Maybe I can get it going again. I am a Mom of 3 very active boys, 2 with ADHD and I have ADHD myself. So our household is pretty chaotic. I'm pretty new to blogging and would love some insight from other veteran bloggers struggling with ADHD like we are.

Hi I am a mom of 4 (7, 6, 2 and 8 mo). My 6 year old daughter was diagnosed with ADHD. We had  her on meds for about a month and we took her off becasue we did not like how emotional and aggressive they made her. The teachers advised that it wasn't even making a differene in school. We just started with a cup of coffee this week to see how that works. We don't want to medicate her if possible. We are trying the all natural route first and if that is a complete fail then we will give in to meds. Any moms trying things all natural? I blog and I have blogged about "My New Normal" as well as recipes, family matters, healthy eating, DIY laundry detergent.T ake a peek at

While my kids have never been formally diagnosed with ADHD, I have often been asked if they have it. I have three boys and my middle boy is my most hyper active child. I often find myself asking "why me?" when he does something outrageously off the wall, or I get a note from his teacher about his latest antics. I began my blog because I could not find enough information about parenting a hyper active child. I am trying to build a resource for parents where they can come and think, "I am not alone." Come and check it out!
