Oh boy do I have some advice on preschoolers! As a reading specialist and mom to a 4 year old, 3 year old, and 9 month old I have tried it all.

Visit Mom's Life Made Easy to see which products we love,

or My Reading Specialist if you want great pre-reading tips for your preschoolers.

Dayls - I read this book called "Baby Wise" and it all about putting your child on a good sleeping schedule. I remember one of their principles is put your child to bed at a reasonable hour (8 sounds reasonable enough to me). They said if you are putting your child to bed late then that can often mess up wake up times.

I think the same authors have a book for children that are preschool age. You might check that resource out. You could google it. I haven't read it but their book on babies (Baby Wise) pretty much saved my life the first year I had the twins.
