Hi! New to this group and I'm looking forward to exploring all the great ideas everyone has posted! I have a blog, Can I Taste It Now? about raising my preschool daughter. We love to cook (and eat!) and do crafts together. I also am a kindergarten teacher. I hope you stop by!

Hi! Love the idea of this group! I am the mommy of a pre-pre-schooler who has spent many years working with preschoolers! My blog is all about sharing what I've had the joy and privilege of learning...

What do you all do for Teacher gifts?

I am the lead room parent for my sons's class and therefore in charge of all the teacher gifts throughout the year as well as other stuff. Being new to this whole thing, for Christmas, the rest of the room parents and I agreed on an idea I had to make them centerpieces and then a gift card to their favorite restaurant. Below is a picture of the centerpieces I made each teacher. Is this something that is different than what they might normally get? And do you think they will like them?

Edible Snowman Craft - Fun for all ages. The kids absolutely loved doing this. Would be fun to make with a winter unit.

Just thought I would share with you a Salt Dough Ornament recipe that my daughter and I did this weekend. It was fun to make our own ornaments. We have been reading a lot of Christmas Books as well as watching Christmas Movies.

I am new to this whole preschool thing as my son just started this year. So far I am totally overwhelmed with it all. I had no idea I would be twice as busy now that I have one child in school for part of the day. Totally not what I expected.
