Symptoms to Take Notice of in Children

The NHS has been facing ever-increasing pressures in recent years, with slashed budgets, staff shortages and lack of resources taking its toll on the quality of care. One of the many ways we commonly see the impact of these pressures is in waiting times for GP…

How to Through A Larger Than Life Small Wedding on a Budget

This one is as simple as crowdfunding your honeymoon. It might sound strange at first, but do you really need another blender or set of dinner plates? Instead of having your guests purchase a bunch of things you’ll end up trying to return anyway, why not let them chip in for…

Hey everyone, good Sunday evening to you.

I wanted to let you know that I am starting a newsletter for people with diabetes. As you may know, my son was diagnosed at the age of 9 months with Type 1 diabetes. He took insulin his entire life. On April 28, 2005, my son died from the complications of the disease. I am doing this newsletter so that I can help others lead a healthier life. This newsletter is so I can help others.

Because my son was one of the youngest people ever diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, I developed a relationship with diabetic monitoring equipment and diabetic research companies. While my son was alive, he never had to pay for diabetic monitoring equipment or strips, because many of those companies would get our name and telephone number from the hospital and doctors and just ask if they could send them to us. To this day, I still receive information from them.

Often I get news about new medical advances in the search for a cure for diabetes, as well as offers for free diabetic meters. So, I decided to start a weekly newsletter that will help those with Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes manage their care better. The newsletter will have recipes, information, health insurance/health maintenance tips (like what to talk to your doctor about or how to know if you have a caring diabetic doctor, etc.) If you are interested send me your email. I'm not a spammer, so if you are interested in getting it let me know. I will send it once a week like on a wednesday or Thursday. The newsletter will begin publishing February 8, 2012.

If you would like to receive this newsletter just reply to this message with your email address, and I will add you to the list. IF you know anyone who might benefit from this information, please
forward this message to them so they may also receive the newsletter.
