When I first turned 40 it was kinda hard for me to swallow. But, now two years later I realize how much wisdom, love and compassion I have inherited through out the years and I am so grateful for my 40's.

I'm only 39 can I still join you lovely ladies?  I will be 40 in 3 weeks! I am thrilled to find this group as I was starting to think that I was the only one. I am a first time mom and gave birth to our healthy baby boy in June.

I just visited your site. Thanks for sharing about the Easter craft. Your family is beautiful...ah...should I say handsome. Guys don't care too much for the description "beautiful," but I must say your youngest son is cute:)

Cynthia, I LOVE when one of my books peaks interest!!

The book's rhymes are all fun, and the illustrations, by award winning artist K.C. Snider, are really cool. Moving far from everything you know and love can be traumatic for some kids.  Any BIG change, if parents don't discuss it with the family first, will be a shock.  The parent teacher guide offers helpful suggestions that will  prepare a child, and help them understand the reasons behind the change - whatever it is.

And if your child is happy and well adjusted, Ruthie is simply a fun read to enjoy.

Margot, this book has peaked my curiousity, especially the last two lines of the first verse.
