I am sure these days, women having babies after 40 face no prejudice here in the US.  I had my son when I was just 40 ( 26 years ago), and no one looked down on me in Australia, where I lived then.  Times have changed. Sure, older moms face problems their younger counterparts don't, but they also bring things to the parenting table that only years and experience can offer.
