Tina, I have two terrific reviews of my book Taconi and Claude - Double Trouble - a mid-grade adventure for boys and tomboys. It is set on a cattle station in the Aussie outback. I would love to share them on your site.
Hi everyone. Every weekend I have a Show & Tell linky where you can share your family friendly book reviews & giveaways. Adult & kid books nonfiction & fiction are welcome - just please make sure their family friendly and non-dark genre. Thanks so much!
Show and share your book reviews and book giveaways each weekend Saturday - Monday night. Family Friendly of course and if you have articles about education, art or family/parenting oriented those are welcome too. http://familyliteracyandyou.blogspot.com/2011/03/did-you-know.html
Jenny, your book sounds like an inspirational. Love the cover as well. Best of luck with it. Was it hard to self publish? Was it expensive to illustrate and have edited?
So many are self publishing today it must be working for them. I am sure that a few background details would be appreciated by many of us trying to make up our minds to jump in and try it.
Recently published by yours truly, Mommy Whispers depicts the special relationship between a mother and her daughter through each stage of life and ultimately the power of prayer and faith in God through it all. Available on Amazon, Branes and Noble and www.jennysulpizio.com
Thanks for looking!
Christine, thanks for the kind words.
Choosing the right book for your niece could be tricky. Look for plots that fit her interests. Is she into sports, music, the outdoors? Is she a "girly" girl or a tomboy?
If she's a tomboy, my Aussie adventure, "Taconi and Claude" might work for her.
Read my short story tease and leave a comment - you cound WIN her a copy.http://taconiclaude.blogspot.com/
