Moms with Teenagers

Moms of teenagers know they are entering alien territory. Here we can discuss our struggles with wanting to help them grow up and be independent while wanting to hug them and rock them in our arms again.

As my children are growing, I'm reflecting on their toddler years.  What I miss most. Really.

New!  my last child is 16.  I'm just starting to step back out in the world and see "waz-up" !!     I was glad to find a teen blog.   I've enjoyed all the stages, and teens are fun too.   My 16 year old is a son.

Yay for teens! (Did I just say that?).

Yup. Raising teens is almost like raising a two year old ; they want independence, but aren't quite ready to "run" yet ... although sometimes when we catch 'em doing something forbidden, it'd be better if they did. My blog also touches on the fabulous teen and college years.

Oh ladies I am so glad to find you.  I knew that somewhere out in the blogosphere there had to be a group of women blogging about life beyond diapers, pregnancy and which lunch box to buy... and I found you oh happy happy days

Hi Moms!
It’s refreshing to see teens taking a stand and trying to help the fight against bullying. I’m trying to do the same thing with younger children by way of the children’s book, Flightless Goose. I posted a question on my Facebook page that asks teens/tweens for their advice for young children getting bullied. If you know any teens or Tweens I would love it if they would weigh in and leave a comment. The facebook page, Flightless Goose, is www.facebook.com/flightlessgoose. We are very interested in what they think! (the publisher is also giving away an ipod on its blog for the most helpful comment). Comments close 3pm today, May 12th

Hallelujah and Taxes.  Not two words you would put together:

The difference between sons and daughters at my house.  It take two seconds to read.  About the same amount of time they devote to cleaning their room...
