Moms with Teenagers

Moms of teenagers know they are entering alien territory. Here we can discuss our struggles with wanting to help them grow up and be independent while wanting to hug them and rock them in our arms again.

Hello, I am new to the group! I have a 13 year old daughter who so far has been great! Good student, good behavior. She has a struggle with weight. Doesn't like to talk about sexuality, is this normal? Hope I can learn to deal with these teen problems thru this group! Thanks!

Fellow blogger C. Lee has interviewed me on her blog The Write Game, and we're hosting a giveaway of my debut novel Life, Liberty, and Pursuit. Hop on over and enter! :)

Hi!

My novel Life, Liberty, and Pursuit has just been released!. I wrote it for my niece - who was 14 years old at the time - and it's an empowering love story for teen girls (and boys, if they can stand the romance!). But anyone who likes a good love story might enjoy this summer read. :)

Hi, Im also new here...I have 4 children, two of my daughters are teens aged 16 & 14 yrs. The 16yr old appears to be coming out of the fog, the scariest thing about her at the moment is teaching her to drive, this is by far the most terrifying job a parent has to undertake. My 14yr old is well & truly entrenched in the "alien yrs", she is very tolling at times. I then have a 7yr old son & a 3yr old daughter. I love them all to death.

I write a blog about the adventures we are having & the inspiration we find whilst designing & building our dream home, I'd love it if you dropped by sometime!!!

Hi, I'm new to this group as well. I have 2 daughters, ages 14 and 3, and 5 sons who are 11, 8, 6, 2 and 4 months. My teenage daughter is about to drive me nuts too lol. I'd rather go back to the terrible 2's!! I'm sure many of you can relate. I swear it's like she's been stuck in neverending PMS mode. I love the girl like crazy but man oh man the teenage years are rough lol.

Hi all! I'm new to this group and wanted to introduce myself! I have two sons -- a 14 year old TEEN and a soon to be teen (turning 13 in Nov). If I've learned anything about raising them it's this: Raising teenagers is like trying to nail jello to a tree! I write a blog about the various things in my life: things that amuse me, tips I want to share, great photos and scrapbooking ideas, and stories about my family's adventures! I invite you to stop by and visit, and if you enjoy what you read, I'd be honored with a "follow." Thanks!
