Moms with Teenagers

Moms of teenagers know they are entering alien territory. Here we can discuss our struggles with wanting to help them grow up and be independent while wanting to hug them and rock them in our arms again.

I would love to increase my readership as well. I am finding it a bit difficult. I do like coming on to the site and reading other blogs.  I have found some great blogs. I normally keep track of the blogs that I join and try to comment on them at least once every other week until I just never hear from them.  I love having tons of blogs to read and respond too.

Good luck with your book!  It looks like we may be mining the same vein. You might want to check out  My co-author and I have just released our book which focuses on creating a solid relationship with teens rather than focusing on their behavior.

I just released my first e-book “How to Motivate Kids – No Nagging Required”. It addresses the most common frustrations for parents and gives excellent, practical how-to’s to easily motivate your kids right now.

I am looking for contributors for my blog relaunch in September. Many of you have a niche in different subjects.  It doesn't have to be from the perspective of a single parent. Stop by and see what I am looking for.  I would love to work with you.

I am new to blogging and also a step mother to 2 teenagers (13 & 15).  I was happy to find a teenage parent group!  I look forward to checking out your blogs and hope you stop in and follow me as well!

I'm a single mom to an almost 13 year old boy and a 15 year old girl.

I'm currently doing a blog series on "how to motivate kids".  Check it out at

As the mom of two teen girls - 18 and 15 - I actually started my blog as an assignment for grad school. I was going to blog about PR but my GIRLS actually suggested I blog about "stuff that they do" or what other moms of teens would find interesting. I'm not sure if I always meet their high standards but I'm having a blast!  I am going to continue my blog after the semester is done.

Wish me luck on my final report - and please come visit my blog!

Hi All!

In my opinion teenagers are imposters, aliens sent to drive us mad for a few years so we can learn to appreciate the good times we had with them when they were young.  They certainly help to put thing in perspective anyway ;)

My name is Desiree', I am mom to 1 teenager and step-mom to 2 tweens (soon to be teens, aaargh!) and my sweet little 8 year old step son.

They all live at home with me and the hubster, things get interesting sometimes but we've been at it for 5 years now so it's *almost* down to a science ;)

I blog all about our crazy life over at  I'd love to hear from you, stop by or leave me a message on my wall here.  I'm new and still figuring out the ropes here.
