hi ladies, my name is Dina and I am a massage therapist (not currently working), aromatherapist and herbalist. I am getting ready to launch a new educational and product review blog. I also absolutely love bellydance and knitting. I will let you know as soon as well launch because we will have lots of great giveaways.

Does anybody have an opinion on municipal water safety? Do you think a refrigerator filter is enough? Any thoughts would be great. I've been a green-ish mom for a long time, but am working my way into being a full fledged organic/real food/clean/healthy mom. It's a long process. ;) But I'm stuck on water at the moment. Any advice is much appreciated.

I am so happy to find this! I am an organic mommy! Johanna- I totally agree just because it is organic does not mean it is good for you!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hi,
I am raising my kids and dog holistically. As a natural health practitioner I am very aware how important it is to avoid toxins and buy as much organic as possible. However, just because the food is organic doesn't mean it is always good for you, it is still processed and contains sugar. A lot of it still comes in a can and so on. The main companies have caught on to the popularity of organic living and they are now making too much organic convenience food.

I cook from scratch, avoid flouride, pesticides, plastic, aluminum foil and so on. I use natural remedies and we haven't been to the doctor in years. I recycle and re-use and raise my kids to appreciate a more simple life.
