Hi Lindsay, You're on the right track by sorting like paperwork together. Here's a great product, called a Multi-purpose Project Bin, that helps keep paperwork in a vertical position and since the containers are clear, you can easily see anything that falls to the bottom.

Hi everyone! I would be what you would call the organized mess. I love big boxes for my desk. But each box is organized like bills, writing stuff, mail, or the stuff that needs to be sorted :) lol... I know I know!

Hey Mamas, I'd like to introduce the GOPACK Method of organizing. It's a simplified method for getting organized, an acronym that stands for Group Objects, Purge, Assign, Contain, and Keep it up. Here's a summary:

Group Objects: Put like items with like items (a.k.a. sort)
Purge: Decide what stays and what goes
Assing: Decide where you'll put it
Contain: Now it's time to buy containers
Keep it up: Put a system in place and maintain it
