New blogger, would love any feedback!

Hi everyone! I'm new to blogging, and this site. My blog's been up and running for about a month now. I was wondering if any of you lovelies would take a look at it and let me know what you think. Is the color scheme ok? Too many ads, not enough? I want to hear ALL criticism, good or bad! Thanks in advance!

Dark colors usually don't work for some, but you do it well. Your colors and how you used them came out great. You picked the right background, but I was ease up on your banner and badges. I swear blogger should have something in place where you can showcase them and it doesn't create a long winded page. Once suggestion is to create a page called "links" so you can create a page dedicated to them and free up some of your sidebar for other stuff, other then that, great post and I signed up for Credit Karma thx!

Hi!

Honestly, I'm not a fan of the black, just personal preference. Also, I think your sidebar is too cluttered and too wide. Your content is lost. I feel like the posts should be the main focus. Maybe consider a custom header instead of just text and add a tagline to let your visitors know what your blog is about.

Thanks for the feedback Crystal! I am actually getting an entire blog makeover soon. Definitely getting rid of the black and getting a header. I can't wait. I know my blog really needs it lol. As far as the sidebar, i actually added the 2nd one. I couldn't work with just one sidebar. I wasn't able to find out how to put the other one on the other side of the blog, so that's why it's wide. But that will be gone soon as well!
