Cool concept for the blog. Good design.
I like the post about the mom bloggers. Great resource!
Did you do all the leg work to compile the list?
It's screaming for more photos. Photos of the people you are writing about.
Have you considered going to a three column format?
Hi Patty -- I'm currently an empty nester too! I just checked out your blog and wanted to share a few of my observations:
I really like your header and tagline info about what your blog is about. I also liked the soothing color scheme.
Two things I tried to find but couldn't: information about you and a place to follow or subscribe to your posts. I would definitely suggest to add a profile pic and info if possible, because I think people want to know something about the person behind the blog and why they are writing about this topic. Check out info about Feedburner for how to add subscriptions to your blog:
Two other things about the posts. When I arrived at your page I saw a list of top bloggers, which was really informative, but I wondered why you chose to post this and how you found out about them? I think a personal intro to the post would be helpful. I also noticed that each post says "posted by admin" which seems impersonal. Maybe you could find out how to change that to Cindy or a nickname that you prefer like Empty Nester.
Well, that's my two cents. I hope it helps! I would love it if you had time to rate my blog for me at:
