Hi everyone. I'm fairly new here and would love to know what you think of my blog. Maybe I'll even make some new friends in the process.
I will give you fair warning, I'm fairly sarcastic and I may say things that are inappropriate from time to time. At least that's what my Mom tells me.So if this sort of behavior offends you in any way, I won't take it personally if you don't click the link. ;)
I blog about pretty much every aspect of my life. From motherhood, to my experience as a nurse in the ER, and everything else in between. So please come and take a look if you have time.
I've read your blog for a few months now... funny that I would run across you here! :o)
I like your current design--especially the colors/patterns.
The only thing I might suggest, and this is based somewhat on an online article I read recently, is that your header be a bit 'shorter' so that readers don't have to instantly scroll to start reading. (Am I making any sense here??) Apparently, there are quite a few people out there who want the 'meat' of the blog to pop up right away--no effort needed.
That being said, my header and nav bar take up just about as much room as yours... lol! (Peanut's Page)
So, just went by your blog and... since you want honesty... to me it's a little too dark, but I'm a big fan of bright, and white, and clean... come by mine: love&olive and tell me what you think of mine! oh! became a follower on yours :))
LOL! You kiss your mother with that mouth?? I like it. And 115 followers means you're doing something right. I especially like that part where you try to calm yourself with the gum popper in the room. It's entertaining and that emans your blog fills a need - a need for laughter. It made me laugh. My only suggestion would be to tone downt he cursing....just a touch. but that's personal preference. I'm sure that are plenty of people not bothered by it at all.
Thank you for the caution about the content. Here's what I suggest for your blog:
a header to coordinate with your background.
a disclaimer at the very top with a caution about your language. Some like that style of blogging but others night want a warning. If not all your posts have this style of language you can post at the beginning of each one that does. They can skip over if they want.
A new template where the body of each post has a solid color rather than the wallpaper. Your wallpaper makes it hard on the eyes to stay focused for long.
