I have been reading Born to Run by Christopher McDougall. It's a great book for those of you who like to run, or want to begin running. The book makes me feel like I stink at running, but have great prospects for improvement. Born to Run centers around a group of tribal people called the Tarahumar. They can literally run 300 miles at a time. Not only is the distance amazing but they do it without expensive running shoes, coaches, manicured trails, protein bars, or electrolyte drinks. Neither do they have Nike Plus App to track them; these people just get it done.

Not only do the Tarahumar get it done, but they do it barefoot. Yes, they run barefoot. I’m sure you are thinking that is insane, crazy- I initially thought the same thing. But it is very intriguing.
