Hi there
I noticed that a lot of us are posting on the comment page with updates about what we've been doing. I know that running with a buddy is the best way to stay accountable and get through the tough stuff. I was thinking that I would start this thread as a way for us to hook up, cheer each other on, and keep each other accountable through our training.

Well, I did a 5k on Saturday and a 10k yesterday. Feeling sore today since I'm still recovering from my Vancouver 1/2 last weekend. Feels great to get out there though. Thought I'd try some biking and strength today.

I feel like such a wimp - I did a mile and a half run/walk twice this past week. But I haven't run consistently in a while. I was doing pretty well until a couple of years ago when I started feeling really tired. Last year I had 2 surgeries - the last one being a hysterectomy. I still get tired easily but feel so much better. I keep hoping my energy will return, but it really hasn't. People keep telling me maybe my body is still healing. Anyway, I am hoping to get myself back into the shape I was in a few years ago. I'd like to start training for a 1/2, but I guess I gotta take it one step at a time. This next week I hope to run the 20-25 minutes without stopping to walk.
