I did it! I loaded up the toddler in the jogger and forced myself to run a few miles! feel so much better :)

So, yesterday I went for a walk with my English Springer Spanial (full of P&V) & Bicshon Papillon dogs and my 2 1/2 year old. We live out in the country/bush, so there is a road that we can walk up that there is no traffic!!!! This time I let the dogs off leash. I think that they got more excersise than I did! I took some pictures, Sweet Baby brought her baby along. So beautiful outside, and again today. Walking again. Then I HAVE to do pilates. Back pain was more of 3 (outta 10) this morning!!!!

still haven't done much of anything lately. it's been cold and rainy, i had my period and i've been lazy. but the half looms over me. i bought new running shoes yesterday - i guess that's a start?

I went running today for 30min. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!!!!

I have started running again after a ten year hiatus. I do it on the treadmill at the gym. If I did it outside I would most likely walk. Having the speed set on the treadmill gives me no choice but to keep going. I have fumbled on it once trying to drink water. That was embarrassing. I have also dropped my MP3 player. It flew off the belt and hit someone's bike. Very embarrassing. I love the feeling I get when I run three miles. I don't like the red face I get and the stares that follow. Most people think I will pass out or puke. All it is is healthy blood flowing up to my head. It's annoying but the sweat and exhilaration I feel after running is well worth it.

Since December I let my running go and focused more on my yoga practice, but now I'm trying to find time for both of them. So far I've run twice this week, only 3.5 miles each time, but it's better than nothing. I'm trying to work back up to the 5 miles I was at -- AND do yoga 3-4x a week.
