taking a few days off did not impact my running today. i ran 3 miles and did two 1/4 mile speed walks at the beginning and the end. i feel great. my goal is to do 3 miles under 30 minutes, close to 9 minute miles. pretty realistic for me. my days of pulling 6 minute miles are long gone (and that was in my teens).

Ok, so I am finally, hopefully going to find a correction for my back pain!! WOOT
I am going to see a Theraputic Massage Therapist in an hour!!! I really hope that this will help with the pain. I've tried every other mean of medical. I refuse to take T3 or any other sorts of pain killers, so I endure with the pain :( ***FINGERS CROSSED**** Wish me luck!!! I hope to be up and running again soon!!!

Great run! My goal is to run a 7k this week as well. 38 mins is a pretty good time! Prob gonna run a 5k today to start off the week. I'm planning on running some 10k races this year.

WONDERFUL! I had an interesting run first full one in Pacific Spirit Park since Wendy's death. 7K 1min run/2min walk intervals. Took me 38 mins. Had my sisters dog with me and I swear her nosing around slowed me down ;)

Next run on Tuesday, hopw you will all join me?

PS - Who's training for a 10K or half marathon this summer?

Happy Sunday everyone! Is there anyone starting back into a training routine for a 1/2 or a 10K? If so I'm restarting today and would love to virtually partner up with someone!

just tested out the ankle with a slow 5k. Not too bad. icing and ibuprofen right now then off to watch my kidlets test for a new belt in tae kwon do. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday!

it has been a lazy week. i ran on monday and i thought i was going to puke. had family in from out of town, so i entertained instead of going to the gym the rest of the week. the break will hit me like a ton of bricks on the treadmill tomorrow.

I just did 3 miles with the jogger and the dog. Uuugghh! It is very annoying when someone feels like he needs to stop and pee every block!
