rAN for the 1st time in 1 1/2 week. it's 80+ outside - ran like a slug. 3.5 miles. almost died. walked a fair amount...now questioning if i can actually finish the 1/2 marathon...i'm so screwed.

HI there
I'm a relatively novice runner (less than a year). Training for my first half marathon which takes place May 3rd. Sprained my ankle a week ago and frantically begging physio to perform a miracle so I can still race. Icing, elevating, icing, elevating and ibuprofen. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm here! I have been meaning to get on all week! I took the G-man for a run in the jogging stroller today-about 3 miles, very slow! That stroller really makes it harder!

I am having surgery next Wednesday to remove the tumor (Morton's neuroma) in my foot that has prevented me from jogging; hopefully after recovery I can finally get out running again. If anyone has some recovery stories and tips for easing back into the running thaaang, let me know!

I'm not a runner (though somedays chasing my kids I wonder). I had to give up running years ago because of my knees. But I'd love to hang out and suck in some recipes and health tips, if that's ok.

I was debating going for a run right now, and then remembered the blisters on my feet from walking around Disneyland yesterday. Maybe I'll do pilates instead? Or maybe I'll get caught up on all my email... hehe.

I did it! I loaded up the toddler in the jogger and forced myself to run a few miles! feel so much better :)
