I just signed up to Stumble and I'm completely lost! I thought I understood it, but I don't. I get the ratings, reviews and posting sites/blogs but I do not understand the searching at all. For example, does it not work like a search engine? I want to promote my face painting business. I had someone submit my site, but now I can't figure out how to have SU direct people to my page. I tried searching "face painting" and "nj face painting" and I'm nowhere to be found. So I figured I have to have a lot of stumblers giving me thumbs up before I appear...? My head is spinning!!
I would love to start trading Stumbles, but I want to know what I'm doing! Any help would be appreciated.
hi Ivette, if you have the stumble upon toolbar on your browser, you can see how many times your post has been stumbled by clicking on the white bubbletalk button on the SU toolbar.
For your page to be stumbled on by other stumblers, it has to be thumbed up by more people. That's why it helps when you have a network of people like what we have here to stumble your post. The more your post gets a thumbs up, the more likely it will show up when the stumble button is pressed.
The best thing for you to do is add some of the other moms here as your stumble 'friends' and we can send pages that we want stumbled to each other.

I've decided to go out of my comfort zone because we're fortunate to belong to an awesome school district with great high school pathway options. I've done some outside research & now it's a matter…
...This week has been a true test of my sheer will and strength as a mother--sending my 13-year-old, my first-born off on a 5-day retreat miles away, off the grid---no contact! It's been emotional--up & down--happy for him, worried for him, excited for him then missing him. Very much missing him. And I survived. My Huz has survived (barely) & his younger brother (very bonded to him) also survived. We missed him SO SO much!! But we love him and want him to experience…
