Hi Bianca - I had a schedule of three times a week, mon, weds, fri - though lately it's been hard to stick to (I've been doing a little less). I feel like more would be too much for my readers, and too much for me to produce well thought out articles. When I do less though I worry about losing readers - if they come back and find nothing new, they may not think to come back again. Interested to know what others think!
Peryl- That's a really good point... I would love to post everyday but find that if I did my post probably wouldn't be quality post. At the same time I do understand about having new content...My thinking is that I need to pick a pattern and stay consistent with it and then my readers will know what to expect. any other thoughts?
As a new Blogger these are things I ask myself everyday. I always forget to Blog and when I remember to it could be a month later. How all do you remember to blog? How do you find content? Which days are the best to Blog on? What will catch readers interest. Do you use Guest Bloggers? If so how often?
I also go for 3x a week on my beauty blog. Preferably Monday being the absolute day and no later than noon Friday. My mommy blog is just getting off it's feet so I haven't been keeping up with that schedule. Coming up with ideas for my mommy blog has been a lot harder. Some ideas are great, but too personal. Some days are the same as yesterday and uninteresting.
Ive found the best days are Monday & Tuesday, at least for me. Followed by Thursday. Wednesday is a bit slower. Or maybe thats just when i tend to post and it obscures the traffic readings I'm looking at :)
I've found Sat-Sun to be the worst days for traffic, regardless of new content and don't bother cutting into precious family time to blog on those days.
