I'd Like to Start a New and Slightly Different Hop - Are You Interested?

As we all know, Blog Hops can sometimes be frustrating.  You may spend your time visiting other blogs, leaving insightful comments that show you actually read the content only to find out that you didn't get followers in return or you received comments that showed that no reading was done during the visit.  No fun, right?

Yes I am tired of it too, but I do enjoy reading other blogs, connecting with other bloggers and finding out things I didn't know before I started.  That is why I would like to start a new kind of hop.  I'm still working out the details, but here's what I am thinking.

Possible Title:  I Read Your Blog Hop

Possible Rules:  Something like a hope and a repost at the same time.  If you'd like to see an example of what I mean, you can visit this post on my blog http://www.yankeetexanmom.com/2011/05/20/if-today-were-my-last-day/  This post resulted from reading someone else's blog, enjoying the post so much that I linked it back from my blog.  I'm not sure that it would be a particular day - I think it would be ongoing, like a "pay it forward" kind of thing.  Almost like the Versatile Blogger Award, except with much less work.

Any thoughts/interest?

Thanks

Cyndy!
