If you haven't read The Kite Runner, I highly recommend it. It's the best book I've read in a long time. It took me a while to get into it due to some of the non-English words and phrases, but then I couldn't put it down. If you haven't seen the movie, don't. It's nothing like the book. The book is fabulous!

I've read about seven books this summer. The best I've read, by far, was The Kite Runner. While it wasn't a new book, it's one I put off reading for a while, but when I finally did, I wished I'd read it sooner. Great book! I'm reading his second book, A Thousand Splendid Suns right now. Another great book this summer was Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich.
