Stacy--seriously, your humor is like mine and Melinda's! I actually blogged about a terrible, "mystery" smell in my car. I'm driving and out of nowhere my nose starts to rise just a centimeter as an unpleasant odor suddenly wafts through the car. I sniff the air a few times, testing it, feeling more or less like a St. Bernard, and I begin to categorize the list of possibilities of what the mysterious smell could be.
I start thinking it's my kid's gas and that hamburgers aren't settling well with my daughter's tummy. I've even wondered if the ‘all-encompassing’ bad smell is directly linked to the baby…and what he’s sitting in. I got tired strapping a tank of oxygen to my face in order to breathe easier. It ended up being...corn. A bag of corn had slid out of the grocery bag and...it was 3 weeks old. THERE"s the dead body for you! YUCK!

Welcome Shelah!

Camryn - I am sorry about your sore arms, I do have three helpful suggestions - Margarita, Margarita, Margarita. Unfortunately, you will probably have to push the blender buttons with a pencil that you hold between your teeth, but perhaps it will take the edge off. I also have to tell you that I nearly wet myself when I read your post about the "dead person" smell in your car and the fear of what will happen in an accident. That was really hilarious. I too have a problem with all the crap that accumulates in my car. I once had a stench that was so bad I thought I might have to sell my car and get a new one. Let me just say a bottle with milk lodged under the seat + 100 degree weather = the need for a respirator while driving.

Welcome Shelah! There is always room for more ;)

Melinda--your blog was great! Our humor is similar! We SHOULD hook up and do something funny!

Stacy--I'm still laughing--I totally relate to your blog right now. My arms are jelly and I am hen-pecking the computer with my nose because my arms can barely lift high enough to type today. I overdid it with the weights (trying to prove to myself that I'm not a woosie) alas, here I am. Banaged and sore, my muscles screaming for Lortab ;)

Thanks for the welcome, Stacy ... your story made me laugh! ;0) And laughter is essential to parenting. Because I would be in a straighjacket right now without it. Everyone warned me about the middle school years. However, they didn't do it justice. Good thing I love her.

Stacy, I totally relate to the "mouth of babes." I just blogged about it! Kids say the funniest things--sometimes it hits too close to home.
My 6 year old daughter's friend just said our car "smells like a dead body."

Hi everyone! Welcome Melinda. I have had company (a lot of company) for the last week and I swear to you that the inside of my house looks like a tornado ripped it apart (drawers open, cushions off of the couch, 10 feet of laundry, 150 tons of toys spread over every square inch)! Out of the blue my 5 year old asked my husband how blind people walk around their house without falling down. My husband said that they have to be really organized and always put things back where they go. My 5-year old said, "it is a good thing no one is blind at this house because they would for sure fall and kill themselves". From the mouth of babes. I am off to either clean up or call FEMA. I'll keep you posted.

Speaking of drag isn't Janice looking more and more like a dude these days. I have not watched much of that show but I am a religious Hills watcher (insert ashamed look) and Spencer and Heidi are the best. It pretty much all an act though.

Has anyone watched this show Wipeout? I saw it last summer too. I am sorry, but it is the funniest thing ever. What is wrong with me that I like watching people fall on their face on obstacle courses?

anyone watching I'm a celebrity, get me outta here? I have to say that, I almost miss Spencer and Heidi. ( I hate to say it!) But they are such a great train wreck.... although Janice Dickenson peeing in the camp area and denying it is classic.

My son is dressed in drag right now. He's a year old. He's wearing a tutu. He heard my daughters dancing around upstairs--so he joined them. But, it's not what you think. He's body slamming his sisters, loving to hear them cry and squeal. Atta boy!!
