While formal wear in the summers mean quickly pairing a top with trousers, looking glam while also beating the chills can sometimes be tricky. While dropping temperatures bring with them several style options, they may not be your best bet in a professional…
Well, I just recently started to do product reviews. When I first started my blog, I was actually strongly against product reviews and thought that doing them really wouldn't help the companies I feature. But, then I started to hear from the readers of my blog & they said that they found product reviews helpful and were more convinced to make purchases from companies after seeing/hearing a review. So, I decided I'd start reviewing! And...it really did help! I had one small online shop receive 15 sales that she said were solely based on my review of her product. That just made my day! I love knowing that my reviews were helping. And, I must say that the items I have received to review I still use on a regular basis and I am often asked about them - so I am able to promote the companies even more that way :)
So, what I would like to ask is:
What is the best way to go about finding companies that would like bloggers to review their items?
And, if you are representing PR for a company, what form of communication do you prefer from bloggers?
I have just been contacting the companies on my own via email - not asking for review items, but simply asking if I could feature them on my blog. And, from those - a few companies have asked if I'd include a review/giveaway. I guess I have just been "lucky" that they asked me. But, I would really like to start reviewing items from companies that really want their items reviewed - or are fairly new on the internet and want to get the word out about their products.
Is e-mailing them directly the best way? Or is there somewhere were they are asking for such things?
(sorry if this is already in another thread...I'm fairly new here & still trying to figure things out) :)
