Through the Bible in 2010

Reading the whole Bible seems like an impossible task but I plan to do it through the year of 2010. Starting on Jan 1 I will post what chapters we will read and then we can talk about them, share key verses, or whatever else we decide : )

I have been reading Psalm 119 the longest of poems in the book of Psalms.

Anyone have any favorite verses in this particular Psalm? My I also ask why is it your favorite?

To be honest I am going back over to determine my favorite passage.

And I shared this one with a friend
Proverbs 18:1 Unfriendly people care only about themselves;
they lash out at common sense.

Just read Proverbs 19:19 Hot-tempered people must pay the penalty.
If you rescue them once, you will have to do it again.

I really need to read this one. Thanks

Okay so verse on of Prov 21 - It doesn't say that God turns only godly king's hearts wherever He wishes - so one must assume that He uses ungodly kings and even dictators for some purpose. Maybe to turn an ungodly nation to Him or back to Him.

Verse 9 and 19 - I really hope I am not this kind of woman. I really do. I want my husband to WANT to be home...not wish he were on the corner of our rooftop! Or worse yet - a wilderness!

17: those who love the fine things in life will never have money. :) I wonder why not. haha!!! Yea, you can buy your Ralph Loren, Gucci, Versaci, or whatever....but I'll stick to my Walmart and Target brands. LOL! And save my $$ for other stuff.

23: Ugh!!!! NEED. TO. PRACTICE. THIS.

Its okay. My son was sick all last week - and ended up in the hospital for 3 days. So, I wasn't around much. I'm getting ready to read today's right now.

OMGosh! That is awesome : ) I love writing! I have written two books and am trying to do a third. But I haven't even tried to get them published. I also ran a writers group outside of Houston for about four years and it was amazing. The people I met are lifetime friends.

I know I keep getting delayed with the postings. My AC broke, then my washer machine, and now my water heater is out. I am about to put a For Sale sign in my front yard and just go live with my parents!

I am just going to post from where we left of even though those dates have past

June 24 - Proverbs 17
June 25 - Proverbs 18
June 26 - Proverbs 19
June 27 - Proverbs 20
June 28 - Proverbs 21
June 29 - Proverbs 22
June 30 - Proverbs 23

July 1 - Proverbs 24

I will try to catch up this week and come and and just leave my thoughts! I am so happy to have started this again : )!
