Through the Bible in 2010

Reading the whole Bible seems like an impossible task but I plan to do it through the year of 2010. Starting on Jan 1 I will post what chapters we will read and then we can talk about them, share key verses, or whatever else we decide : )

I wanted to come by and say hi to the new members : ) Sorry I have been MIA the last couple days. We are re-doing our bathroom and if seems like I haven't left Lowe's/Home Depot/or every other floor decor store in Houston in 48 hrs. But my hubby is so wonderful because he is putting in a new whirlpool tub with all the other new stuff. I am so EXCITED because I am totally a bath person.

And the trip for work where he would be gone for 45 days got delayed to the middle of Feb. I hate it because you will get a date and it will get pushed back and then pushed back again. We both wish that if this trip does come along that it comes sooner then later. We want to get it done and over with!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! How is everyone doing with the readings? I have had an easier time with the NIV Bible on my IPhone because I can read everywhere I go.

So many things...

- Thanks for all the prayers for my hubby. He wont be leaving for a couple weeks so we are just spending time together and getting ready for it.

- My BFF might be staying with me while he is gone. She just moved back to TX from CA because she left her fiancee. We will see though because I kinda just want to go stay with my parents. I think it would be fun to cook dinner for them and just have the time together.

- Jacquie - I would HATE not having my phone! It's amazing how attached to it I am. But if you have the IPhone is has some great apps for the Bible that I could recommend.

- I don't believe in coincidences either. I believe that God has a plan for everything even if you have gotten there through a bad way. Like when someone has gone through something bad and then uses it for a ministry to help others. God uses the bad to help people.

- I started the Breaking Free study through Beth Moore this morning and am LOVING IT! I am so looking forward to this study and what God has in store for me.

I am also so glad that this group has been growing and been so active! Now off to read more of the chapters....

Jacquie- Thanks for the info on the study...may need to do that one soon. Good luck with your phone. Also I TOTALLY agree about the whole coincidence thing, it's all God.
Richele- Esther is an awesome book, can't wait to pick it apart and apply it to my every day.
Lindsay- Will most definitely be praying for your husband...I have read 100% of the bible. I hate to admit it, but I have my favorites that I tend to read several (gazillion) times. I always say that God probably has hidden His greatest secrets in books like Numbers or'll see why when we get there.

To all the new members~ welcome and I look forward to hearing from you all.

Lindsay - also praying for your husband and you. I've always hated it when my husband's gone for the weekend, can't imagine what 45 days would be like.
