Through the Bible in 2010

Through the Bible in 2010

Reading the whole Bible seems like an impossible task but I plan to do it through the year of 2010. Starting on Jan 1 I will post what chapters we will read and then we can talk about them, share key verses, or whatever else we decide : )

Hi Shasta, Welcome! I am very sorry to hear your family is dealing with sickness right now and I will include you in my prayers as well! And thank you for joining Ascending Butterfly as well!

@Lindsay - Thank you for starting this group, for your warm welcome and for your prayers! I certainly need to always remember to let go and let God and not always lean on my own understanding. I've had to be very independent and find solutions on my own for so long, that is often difficult to not first lean on my own understanding.

I am going into this New Year with renewed Faith, energy and enthusiasm and plan to watch as the world rises up to meet me! :)

Hey Shasta : ) When I posted that last comment it didn't show that you had posted a comment and thats why I only addressed Tracy. I am glad that you joined the group! And I will keep your family in my prayers.

Hey Tracy. I am sorry to hear that you are dealing with the death in the family. I will definitely put you on my prayer list. My family has also been going through some things which is what prompted me to start this group. It's amazing how reading the Bible and turning to God can bring peace in your life and give you comfort. Sometimes it just takes me a while to remember to turn to him instead of trying to handle the situation on my own.

Hi Everyone! I'm Tracy, I want to make a new start in the New Year (like I'm sure we all do!), and this group sounds like a very good way to keep connected with Spirit in 2010. There was a loss in my family over the holiday season this year, and some 'injustices' I'm currently experiencing that I would love prayer and perspective about.

Hey everyone : ) If you have joined the group please introduce yourself, tells of any prayers that you may have, and what you hope to get out of the group. I am hoping that this group grows through the year and we become better bible students : )
