I just learned about a cool scholarship opportunity for writers!  Writer's Relief has just announced The Peter K. Hixson Memorial Scholarship for Creative Writers. Three awards will be made, one in each of the following genres:

•Novel
•Short Prose (Story or Essay)
•Poetry

The winning writers will each receive two rounds of Writer's Relief service which includes: cover or query letter creation and targeting to 25+ literary agents or journals. This service is valued at $500. I'd go for it myself, but my novel won't be completed by the April 23, 2010 deadline.

So I'm putting it out there for the rest of my fellow writing companions.  For more information click this link: http://tinyurl.com/ybk3lro

Best of luck to you all!

Thanks Holly. I've always been a fan of Writer's Relief but thought their services were too expensive. This is a great opportunity.
