Planning ahead to January already ... I will be doing a theme month were I review and speak to authors who have self-published their own work. If you have written a book or know someone who has and they have gone the self-publishing route - contact me at

If you would like your work reviewed during my Self-publishing month contact me soon so we can discuss the details! Please contact me by October 25th. I have about 15 spots open for full reviews and then other books will have shorter mini reviews. Please keep on mind I can only review print copies at this time and that my audience is mostly Mom's!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Another new short that's getting great comments. Yeah! I loved one of them. It said: Imagine meeting either your love or your killer...and the choice is yours.

An Erotic Romance Historical - Keta Diablo

About Land of Falling Stars, an erotic romance/historical:

After her parents die in a fire, Sophia Whitfield struggles to save her beloved home, Arbor Rose. The Civil War has devastated the South, and another blue coat has come to steal her meager possessions. Before the hated enemy inflicts his destruction, she shoots him. And soon discovers the soldier is Gavin, the champion of her childhood.
Gavin's dark secret lurks in Sophia’s future. When she discovers the truth, she's torn between a burning hunger for the man she truly loves and loyalty to Jesse, their childhood friend.

The despicable acts of war have changed everything Sophia and Gavin once cherished. Yet somewhere deep in their hearts, the mystical Land of Falling Stars still exists.

Hello Everyone! I haven't been here in a while. I'm working hard on my second manuscript and parenting my fabulous four. Do any of you have a schedule that you use for networking and writing? I'm trying to get super organized before I get super swamped! My author site is up from the publisher! I'm so happy to be able to share it with you! Tell me what you think about it. Happy writing to all of you!!!

Thank you Debra Ann! I was really pleased with the way it turned out. I like to play around with covers as well so I created one to go along with it. It's posted over on my blog if you have a chance or desire to take a glance:

Hi! There is a new short story site that might be worth checking into. I've submitted a couple of stories and been extremely pleased with the results.

This is my story from last week's prompt. It will get you to the blog and, I am pleased to say, that story has received the most comments and the most hits (almost double) on any submissions on the blog to date.

Clever Fiction ~ Short Stories for the Real World

My apologies for being away from the group for so long. My sister battled terminal cancer and subsequently died the last day of July. Major depression followed. The Clever Fiction blog has helped me to come out of my funk and hopefully I am moving back into full swing now.

I also learned how to format Kindle books with illustrations in them! I'm extremely pleased about that!

Coming soon . . .

VIRTUAL SCHOOL VISITS – Skype Makes it Happen!

This is for the teachers, or those who know teachers
or schools that might be interested.

Me at my writing desk, holding "Taconi and Claude"
my latest mid-grade for boys and tomboys!

I am looking for teachers, or schools, that would like a VIRTUAL VISIT from a children's author who loves to get RELUCTANT READERS READING.

With the economy in the dumps, and many schools feeling a definite pinch, Skype and a Web cam make sense.  And I promise your class AFFORDABLE and INFORMATIVE fun.

I am also more than happy to plan my presentation so that it fits the needs of YOUR class's curriculum.

Let’s negotiate a VIRTUAL  SCHOOL VISIT
