I just joined Mommy Bloggers and this group looks wonderful. I was a teacher for

over 20 years, raised two beautiful daughters and now help take care of my grandchildren and write daily. I am currently working on developing workshops to help teachers and students (our children) be happier, more productive and creative. I will add my first blog to this group tonight. btw, since this is a MOM bloggers club, I have a proud mom story. My daughter who had the brain hemorrhage and brain surgery entered the Clever Fiction weekly challenge!!! You have no idea how happy that makes my heart!  Here's the link to her story: Pointing The Way

My friend, Regency Romance author Jaimey Grant, and I are working on a new project. It will be a 2 in 1 book but the 2 books are going to be different in that each will be an Episodic Novel: Novels told in multiple short story formats yet complete enough to be a full story. Kind of excited about this! The 3rd part of my contribution is up at Clever Fiction: Whispered Endearments Don't Count. Oh! Each story has to stand on its own as well!

My blog is I like to think of myself as a purveyor of stories: I write about what I know, about love and life and all the messy and marvelous stuff in-between.  On my blog I share some of the many more-ridiculous-then-a-soap-opera experiences I have lived through and in most cases learned from. If they don't make you laugh, cry or change your life, at least you will have a few good anecdotes to share over cocktails.

My upcoming book: You’ll Never Know Dear: Secrets of a Single Mom is a collection of short stories that tell how armed with humor, I gave birth, grew some balls, gained perspective on the past and came to realize that even profoundly screwed up people can go on to live their wildest dreams.

I hope you enjoy.

For some women the pregnant nose goes into smell overdrive with incredible detection ability, in fact increased smell sensitivity can save lives. Just ask your local gas company – pregnant…

Black Friday – it’s Not Just About Fashion

Fashion, eh? It comes and goes, then comes back around again, at once fleeting and eternal. A style is in one month and then is never heard of again – until it is heard of again, of course.

The quest for fashionable clothes never ends; it’s just that what is in vogue is always changing.…
