Cody Young..I was trying to follow you..but I don't seem to know how..I love what you wrote. Your blog is great and your life sounds wonderful in so many ways.
1000 words a day is great. I do that on a good day. Let's keep talking.
Just updated my 'About Me' page on my blog. I would love for you to stop by and take a look. http://codyyoungblog.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
I just joined Mommy Bloggers and this group looks wonderful. I was a teacher for
over 20 years, raised two beautiful daughters and now help take care of my grandchildren and write daily. I am currently working on developing workshops to help teachers and students (our children) be happier, more productive and creative. I will add my first blog to this group tonight. If your are interested in my work check our www.happyteachershappystudents.com or www.coincidence-creativy.com.
LINDA, good luck to you and your friend's writing project. Sounds fascinating. And hugs to your daughter too. She is awesome!!
VANESSA, thanks for the links. Will go check.

My blog is http://mslovenhappiness.com/. I like to think of myself as a purveyor of stories: I write about what I know, about love and life and all the messy and marvelous stuff in-between. On my blog I share some of the many more-ridiculous-then-a-soap-opera experiences I have lived through and in most cases learned from. If they don't make you laugh, cry or change your life, at least you will have a few good anecdotes to share over cocktails.
My upcoming book: You’ll Never Know Dear: Secrets of a Single Mom is a collection of short stories that tell how armed with humor, I gave birth, grew some balls, gained perspective on the past and came to realize that even profoundly screwed up people can go on to live their wildest dreams.
I hope you enjoy.
