Hi everyone! I'm a newly-published author, with my first book, Twilight of Avalon, out on May 5th. And I'm also mom to a beautiful 2 year old girl with another on the way. I'm so excited to meet other writing moms!

Hello ladies. I so excited about being part of writing moms. I have been given a second chance to write. But this time I can do it under my own "writer's guidelines." This is great!

Writing is a passion of mine. I can't wait to see what this group inspires me to!

I joined this group after reading through the comments. I think there are some like minded people here. I too am an aspiring writer (though someone once told me if you write you are a writer not an aspiring one). Perhaps an aspiring published writer is a better description. I look forward to gaining some inspiration from you ladies (and maybe a kick in the butt to keep moving forward with my writing). Cheers.

I feel like I need an assignment or a deadline. So much to do, I have to prioritize writing. Of course everything else seems priority. Here's how I get things done. Well, maybe not "done" done... http://flavoredmom.blogspot.com

I just launched my blog. At this point, I'm only blogging to exercise my writing muscles. I'm not ready to spend a lot of time and energy trying to make money from this. I would love to get followers, but I want it to happen (somewhat) organically. Hope I don't sound terribly needy when I say, please, please stop by if you can. http://flavoredmom.blogspot.com

Hello everybody!

What a great group! Blogging is my writing therapy right now since I teach high school English full-time and have two little boys. One of my stories was published in a Chicken Soup book about six years ago, but I am hoping that is not the end of my writing legacy. :)

Hi everyone. I'm working on my first novel right now. It's a mystery. I'm hoping to be finished with the first draft by the end of the year.

I pulled out some of my started stories last night. There are two that I feel strongly about finishing right now. The one that I thought was going to be my next book is, well, not going to be my next book. I'll be posting a snippet of one or both on my page pretty soon!
