Sarah, your blog was the perfect thing to put a smile on my face this morning. Thanks! Alas, I live across the country so sharing a mojito would be difficult but "slainte" nonetheless!

PS Good for you for being the mommy-lion in the library. Well handled!

Sooooo...my son just stabbed himself with a pencil. Again. I'm telling you...this stuff practically writes itself. If you read, I hope you'll comment and let me know your kid's a spaz too. www.MommyLiteOnline.com

Hi Writer Moms,

If you are in need of a fast giggle, I just posted a new Mommy Lite.

Excerpt: "The Bully - I picked on a kid today...and he wasn't even mine..." To read, just click http://www.mommylite.blogspot.com/

I hope you'll check it out and let me know if I'm going to H-ll. Best, Sarah

Holly, that is a great post! I'm just beginning my freelance-writing career, having exited a successful career in marketing. I've several queries & stories out and I'm just crossing my fingers. Meantime, I'm writing when I can, or should I say, when my tot allows me :) It never fails that the creative juices start flowing right when there's a toddler emergency!
We SAHM writing moms need to stick together and encourage each other all we can. Thanks again for the tips!

Holly - what a great article! You're a better person than I for putting all that together! Very helpful.

Best,

Holly, What a great post. Lots of terrific information. You can tell that you spent "too much time" on the post but in doing so, you're going to help a lot people. Thanks for all your hard work.

Hi there writing moms! I just spent way too much time on this post, but it is meant to be a helpful resource for those looking to get into freelance writing. I added a lot of links and some information gleaned from my first year trying to break into the biz. Check it out, leave a comment, follow me and I will follow you back! I am looking to network with other writing WAHMs! Also looking for advice from more experienced writers...
