Back to normal. A new blog post in which I explain the difference between sons and daughters in my house. It takes two seconds to read. About the same amount of time they devote to cleaning their room.
I've written a blog post that is a bit different for me, however, it is my strong impression that our political leaders in both parties can learn a thing or two from Mothers. While I injected some humor into it, the message is clear. If you know someone who is suffering through job loss, foreclosures, etc., it's time to make your voices heard. While I am not political, too many are suffering. It's hard to watch.

Debra Ann, a death is always sad, no matter the relationship you had shared - or not. You chose this descriptive word well. Shattered is evocative of pieces of you falling away with sadness, grief, and thoughts of what could have bee, had the relationships between you both been more promising.
