Lori, I'll post some links to a couple of my articles tomorrow. Too brain dead tonight to think clearly enough to do it! ;0)

Lori and Melissa,
Every year I go to the Florida Christian Writer's Conference in Leesburg, Fl. It is excellent. So worth every penny. Lots of great information and opportunities to talk and pitch articles and book proposals to editors and publishers. Writer's Digest offers excellent writing workshops at www.writersonlineworkshops.com. The Writer's Market has a section listing all the writing conferences in the country. Going to a writing conference is the best thing I ever did for my writing career. Hope that information is helpful. I'll continue to pass along resources as I find them. I love writing!! And love to help other women pursue their writing passion, as well! ;0)

Hi,
I'm a would-be children's writer. Currently working on some ideas and half way through a publishing course. Enjoying blogging about my mommy experiences and my in-home spa products business! Pleased to hear many of you are accomplished authors!

Hi All - My first book comes out next year, based on my first blog - www.oneyearofbeauty.com. I also write articles and marketing materials for my company, Choosing Beauty, and recently launched a second blog (www.myangelpie.blogspot.com). I also write radio scripts for big brands. All this professional writing keeps me writing much personally; wish I'd get better about writing down the cute things my kids do and say!!! ;o)

Melinda,
I'd love to know about conferences and also any good online classes. I really want to get to the next level in my writing and get good feedback to push me. Any thoughts?

Sounds wonderful. I'd love to read some of your articles. I've never been to any big conferences. Can you recommend any?

Hi Lori,
I have been a freelance writer for 16 years ... for many years in the healthcare market, but I am now working more and more in the Christian parenting/children's/relationships publications. I am working on my first book proposal. I write mainly non-fiction.
Sounds like you are doing quite well! Do you go to writing conferences? I have gained SO much from going to a big conference annually.

Just found this group. I have one general fiction novel under consideration and requests for three more. Anyone else here write/publish?
