Hi! Can I join?
Hmmm. I've gotten tons of rejection letters, so haven't mailed a manuscript out in the past year. I still have the desire to write, so I blog. It just clears my head a bit. I don't know exactly how qualified I am to be here, but I blog reading has lately replaced magazines for me, & I'm guessing there'll will be some great blog finds here. Thanks for having me :D.

Hello Writing Moms. I've been on Mombloggers for a while, but just finding time to explore the groups.

Most of my writing lately is for my blog, but I have a children's picture book being published this year, and a couple of magazine and anthology credits.

I try to adhere to the Butt in Chair method of writing, but I enjoy writing most when characters grab me and demand their story be told.

Not to distract but I just found the funniest Twitter address- it's a Haiku poetry one - have you seen it? It's @ twihaiku. It's fun.

I love to write poems, creative non-fiction, and now screen plays. I love to express myself. I just pray that I can overcome the distractions, and get my book completed in the next three weeks.

Hi, ladies! I'm a mom blogger and freelance writer. It isn't easy with two kids! I feel a lot like a circus juggler with ten balls in the air.
My blogs are http://www.imaginationsoup.net and http://www.meltay.wordpress.com. My writing samples are http://www.melissatayloronline.com.
I hope we can share stories and write together. Looking forward to meeting you!

Hi all,

I just posted an article on my blog Write Moms about the writing site Suite101.com. Come visit to learn more about it. If you are a writer for Suite101, please come and leave a comment about anything I did not mention or did not know!

I also posted that I would be starting a blog series on Novel Writing. As I work on my own novel, I will write about the different aspects of novel writing. My hope is to inspire all of you aspiring or seasoned novelists to pull out your ideas and old notes and begin writing on your novel as I write mine. If we all encourage each other, we can finish our books and publish them!!!

Happy Writing,
DeAnna

Hi Im new here. I've loved writing since a young age, and always dreamt that I would do something with it, a book or something. Unfortunately, once I became a mom, I rarely had the time or opportunity to write. With that, came along a dry spell in creative juices. I thought I lost it forever...until I discovered blogging. I still dont have enough time to get everything down, but at least I've started, and Im beyond excited.

My blog is very new, young, and could use some improvement, but its a great re-start for me.

Hi everyone,

I am a mom who is also a writer. I have been a freelance writer for several years for magazines, newspapers and the web. I have also published two novels. I recently started a blog called Write Moms. In it I give information, resources and links that can help writing moms in their goals as freelancers. I hope you will come visit and follow me and also leave comments about your life as a writing mom.
Happy writing,
DeAnna

Hi - mind if I join? I am an aspiring freelance writer. I use my blog to keep my writing fresh, make contacts with other writers, document my writing life, and, of course, tell funny stories about my kiddos. I have had one essay published and two others have been incuded in book proposals. I'm not very good at sending out queries but there always seems to be a load of laundry or something to distract me - that's my excuse anyway. Nice to meet you all.

Camryn,
Congrats on taking a step towards publication! I think all of my magazine queries have been tossed in the trash, so I don't have any pointers. Writer's Market probably does though. I applaud you for persevering- that's HUGE!
