Just to let you know I tried to check out this column but the site is under maintenance. I enjoyed your column about the medium so wanted to continue following you. I will try again later but thought you should know that the site is down for now.

I wrote a series of columns on my breast cancer experience last year from initial discovery though the trenches. It is being featured on sdnn.com for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. They're running a column a day. Hope some of you can check it out. This is my latest...http://www.sdnn.com/sandiego/2009-10-12/news/health-fitness/maryann-castronovo-on-breast-cancer-life-after-surgery. Thank you : )

Hi all--I blog about raising a gifted girl in a non-traditional family, my own spiritual path, and self-defense issues in families at www.mindbodymama.com.

I'm working on a book of essays and also write a health/fitness column for my local paper.

I am interested in blogs which focus on the craft of writing and feature reflective rather than anectdotal posts. My family practices Voluntary Simplicity, so blogs which feature a lot of consumer/marketing aspects are not a great match for me.

I hope to meet some like-minded writers here!

Hi everyone! I new to MBC and new to this group. I have a blog at http://www.awomanslifestages.com. I write about women's issues, motherhood, career, and whatever comes to mind at the time. I am working on a manuscript - memoir of my childhood from PR to where I grew up in New Jersey. I hope to meet other moms who are following their passion to write. Please stop by my blog - I am also looking for new followers and I am happy to follow back. :)

As a mom of 3 boys, I had no clue how to handle my 13-year-old when he became defiant. After finding a naked 16-year-old in his bed, and other stuff, we saw a therapist. He suggested moving away from Orange County, CA to Vermont, where he was from. I said, "How about Belize," and he said, "OK." So in 2004, we left for a Caribbean island, with all 3 boys in tow. We're now back in the OC, and the problem teenager is now doing great in engineering school. All 3 boys changed and learned gratitude instead of their entitlement attitude. Writing a memoir about our life changing experience in Belize. Please visit my BLOG.
Hope to see you there.

My story, "One Flakey Fairy," was on the front page of Shine! Yahoo! the other day! I am so excited. Here's a link to the story if you have a quick moment to read it: http://astrology.yahoo.com/channel/parenting/one-flakey-fairy-516729/ The follow-up story "One Flakey Fairy-Part 2" is on my blog at www.mommylite.blogspot.com...just in case you're curious to see what happens.

I am new around here after living in Italy for seven months. I have a blog about my life with my two girls, my husband and our eternally crazy, yet profoundly simple, life. Stop by for a read and, hopefully, a few laughs. http://www.pipandthebean.blogspot.com/
