Kathy- good to see you here!  Your blog is cute, and I especially love the name (my dishwasher's possessed)  Kindred spirit here...definitely doing the three-kid, marriage, writing balancing act.  It is definitely the high-wire routine in our house (the only three-ring circus event that draws so much attention.  It has plenty of suspenseful drama and there is the consistent possibility someone could get maimed)- I'm with you... I cannot help but to write about it!

I am new to MBC, this forum and writing itself. I have always wanted to write down my feelings and experinces on mothering and the balancing act between being a mom, a wife and a woman. Now that our youngest child has started kindergarten I have started to write. I started my blog on blogspot in January. If you get a chance I would love your feedback. Hi Margot,

My son has always been a reluctant reader. He says he can never get past page one unless the book grabs him by the throat.

My one boy was a reluctant reader.  Getting him to read was like pulling teeth!!  As a teacher's aide I discovered it was not unusual for boys to prefer sports, computer games and TV to reading. I also discovered there were far more books written with girls in mind than there were for boys.

My answer was "Taconi and Claude - Double Trouble" a mid-grade adventure for boys that takes place in the Aussie Outback.
