Hi all,

Do you have difficulty plotting your novel? You may want to try this
technique created by writer/editor Claudia Suzanne. The technique is
called "Meet Me in the Middle."

You can read it on my blog, http://mayrassecretbookcase.blogspot.com/

If you leave a comment I'll be sure to comment back. Thanks!

It's definitely the setting for plenty of famous stories though, isn't it? Harry Potter. Catcher in the Rye. Could you consider Jane Eyre boarding school, or was that just some sort of work camp? Or wait, was she in an orphanage. What else. . .

I always feared boarding school, sounded like such a horrible place! Haven't had to answer that one yet!

I guess each of them have their own reasons and circumstances..I mean I wont say if it is right or wrong to send them..coz honestly life never works out in the ideal way we want it to..maybe they did it so they could study better, or home situation isnt the best for them, or they really need to work...who knows right? I just would say that I cant imagine myself doing that... :)

but i do feel bad that they need to resort to that..like you said they miss out on the kids growing up..but then again we as parents do the best we can...given our situation

I think the kids usually come home on weekends, but still. I'd just miss watching them grow up. I'm sure there are people who would argue with me (and be really pissed off about the whole thing), but I just wonder why you'd even bother to have kids in the first place.

I cannot imagine that..I have heard of boarding schools the whole time I grew up and so cant imagine that..months away from the child??

That's what I always thought. But I know people who send their kids off at 6 and 7. I'd cry every night.
