I really liked the composting tips.  I have my own garden, and am sure this would put wasted food to much better use!@

liked greenworks on facebook (Angie Beechan)

I watched the GIY kitchen edition.  I think he made a good point about ceramic and metal cooking bowls and things.  I always forget to take in consideration the BPAs in some cooking/baking supplies

The VOC paint was an awesome idea! I always hate the lingering paint smell since my toddler and I are both allergic to fragrances.

I loved that compost bin he had - going to have to look for that. I thought you had to have this big giant thing to do that. Love that the wipes can go in there too!

Interesting info about blinds being better than curtains for saving energy - I would have thought the opposite.

I was going to say something about the composting as well! I love what they showed with the tray. I could definitely use one of those in my kitchen.

I love the composting idea, so much food goes to waste especially with kids, using it to create a garden rocks! I also love the idea of the counter top that is not only durable but beats bacteria is something I love!

My favorite tip is from the "project: get a shade greener" segment! I didn't realize that blinds were so much better for energy savings and allergies as opposed to curtains!
