Mom Bloggers Club Rules

As the Mom Bloggers Club continues to grow, it is important to us to maintain the integrity of the club by posting rules and guidelines for membership. Those found in violation of these rules and guidelines are subject to being banned from the club. These rules are subject to change and modification.

  • DO NOT spam members! That means, do not email your entire friends' list or leave unwanted comments on several members' profile pages to stop by your blog, buy into your business, follow your blog, fan you on Facebook, follow you on Twitter or any other unwanted requests. You can network with moms in the forums and on an individual level when you have become friends through the Mom Bloggers Club. If you don't quite understand want spam is, according to Microsoft, spam is "any kind of unwanted online communication." Again, spam is posting the same message repeatedly across the network. Spam is writing the same post or comment over and over again.* Spammers will be banned!

  • DO NOT post messages that attack another member. If we see it or are alerted about an attack, you will be banned. No questions asked.

  • DO NOT post copyrighted material.

  • DO NOT use excessive profanity on our network. It will be deleted.

  • DO NOT post fake or incomplete profiles. Fake memberships with incomplete profile pages will be immediately banned.

  • DO NOT poach members of the Mom Bloggers Club to become members of other social networks or forums. You cannot use the Mom Bloggers Club to recruit MBC members or link to your competing social network or forum.

  • Do NOT advertise, solicit, pitch products for review, or market to members. The Mom Bloggers Club is NOT an open portal to advertise your company or business site, service and/or product either directly or indirectly. The Mom Bloggers Club is an active social network for moms who blog to network with one another and promote their personal blog. We make every effort to keep this club free of spam, solicitations, pitches, and marketing from companies (both large and small) who wish to tap into this demographic of moms. If you would like to advertise to our membership we will be more than happy to send you a media kit. Email us at mombloggersclub (at) themomsalon (dot) com for more information about advertising, sponsorship, and promotions.

If we notice solicitations and marketing from companies (both large and small) and/or other members in our network, the posts will be deleted and membership will be terminated.

For moms: we have created a specific forum called Mom to Mom Business where you can advertise and market your business as much as you'd like. All business-related conversations are to remain in this forum only!

We reserve the right to ban or suspend members who we believe are in violation of the aforementioned rules. If you notice rule breakers, please report them to us. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at MBCmemberservices (at) gmail (dot) com.
