I am a city girl who moved to a small town to take a teaching job. I intended to stay for a year or two at the most, get some experience and move back to the city. Instead I married a farmer and had two babies. I'm adjusting to my role as a mother of two while learning the ropes of life in the country. This blog is all about my adventures as a wife, mom and a country girl.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I enjoy writing about the ups and downs of motherhood and life in the country. Writing is a way for me to organize my thoughts and gain perspective on my life. I try to be as honest as possible about motherhood. I think honesty is so important in motherhood and too often women try to one-up each other or pretend that they have it all together when they really don't. I try to be real about the struggles in my life while focusing on the positive.
