Many mothers believe that the single most important activity you can do with your children is to read to them at night, help them with schoolwork to make sure they get good grades, or make sure they are always nearby. …

I'm a 30-something SAHM with a 2-year-old son and a cat. My husband recently finished his medical residency and started practicing as an OB/GYN at a local private practice. I like to spend time with my family and friends, especially when we're playing games or watching movies or TV. I also like to make jewelry and chain mail, read, and surf the web looking for other interesting blogs.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I started my particular blog as sort of an "advice" column on how to survive when a person is married to someone in a medical residency. I gave my thoughts on what I learned during my husband's residency at the beginning of the blog. Now, I blog occasionally on life as the wife of a practicing physician as well as life as a wife and mommy in general.
Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
