Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I'm not a mum yet, but can't wait to be some day. I love kiddies and even more so kiddies clothes. Oh and anything vintage. I worked in South America primarily as a Graphic designer for an international children's wear label and slowly dabbled in all aspects of the industry. After suffering way too long of home sickness I decided to come home. With no job lined up I went back to school to try my luck at some business courses to set up my own little label. And here I am.... 2 seasons into designing classic children's wear, all inspired from classic eras 40's, 50's 60's etc.
What is your blogging philosophy?
My philosophy on my blog is not to over promote the label. (I actually hardly do that at all) The blog is actually more for me. It's like my diary of the journey I'm taking while setting up my business. It's not all roses all the time, let me tell you...A LOT of tears and late nights! And even though I don't share EVERY minute business detail with the world, I do want to look back some day and reflect on how I handled different situations, how I have grown, changed, succeeded or even the possibility of failed at certain tasks. BUT I am not putting that last one out there.....Only positive thoughts! My overall philosophy for Three Sparrows is that kids look like kids... I despise little 'mini me' clothes on little ones or sculls and obscene language on tee's... I guess I'm an old soul in that way and I hope it comes across in my blog...
I have been blogging since...
